Biography
Eric Call is an adjunct instructor in the NMSU Department of Journalism and Media Studies, where he teaches social media management. He also lectures in marketing and advertising at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and at El Paso Community College. Eric earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, where he concentrated in the history and literature of the renaissance and reformation, and he earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where he majored in marketing and business policy. Before joining the faculty at NMSU, Eric enjoyed over 30 years of hands-on marketing in a wide variety of leadership roles including brand management, strategic communications, consumer insights, new product strategy, and concept development, across diverse industries, from quick-service restaurants to health insurance. Eric is also an award-winning storyteller and has twice been featured on NPR’s Moth Radio Hour.
