Biography

Nick Miller received his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Arkansas. He also earned a master's degree in speech communication from the University of Arkansas and a master's in geography from Marshall University. After completing his B.A, he spent three years in the United States Marine Corps before embarking on a career in broadcast journalism. During his 30-year career, he worked at television stations in Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia and El Paso, Texas. In his last broadcasting job, Mr. Miller anchored the news at El Paso's NBC affiliate for 17 years. His current job is Director of News22, the student produced television newscast that airs on KRWG-TV, the PBS affiliate on the NMSU campus. He also teaches classes in writing for broadcast and media and society.
