Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist to lecture at Milton Hall

The NMSU Department of Journalism and Media Studies, with generous help from the New Mexico Humanities Council, is honored to present Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Don Bartletti. Mr. Bartletti will be in our building, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, to talk about a photography project he produced on Mexican farmworkers titled, “Product of Mexico.”

The project earned Mr. Barletti a 2015 Pulitzer Prize nomination and a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. Bartlett, who worked for the Los Angeles Times from 1983 to 2015, was also awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 2003 for his photographic work documenting young Central American migrants’ dangerous journey riding freight trains across Mexico en route to the United States.

Mr. Bartletti will give a lecture and slide presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in Milton Hall RM #171.The event is free and open to the public.
