NMSU Associate Professor Bruce Berman’s new book titled “Cutting the Wire” was released earlier this month by University of New Mexico Press. Berman collaborated with local poets Ray Gonzalez and Lawrence Welsh to create a collection of photographs and poetry from the US-Mexico border. The title will be featured at the 10th annual El Paso Community College Literary Festival in El Paso, Texas on Oct. 20.
