The meetings were designed to connect millennial and Generation Z students from across the country with business leaders and key media influencers. These connections were meant to foster “think tank” dialogue in an effort to build cross-generational relationships and ultimately help close generation gaps.
The National Millennial Community was founded in 2015 by Bill Imada, Chairman and Chief Connectivity Officer of IW Group, Inc. According to information published on the official NMC website, Imada is using his organization to “bring together a community of millennial thinkers who strive to change the conversation about the millennial generation.”

Representatives from the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Spreetail, Flywheel, Union Pacific Railroad and Mutual of Omaha, among others, were present to meet with students during the event. One of the topics discussed was the need for young and diverse professionals to relocate to Omaha. (Courtesy Photo)
