Noticias22 is the Spanish-language counterpart to News22, produced by students in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at New Mexico State University. This student-led newscast airs weekly on KRWG-TV and provides essential news coverage to Spanish-speaking audiences in the southern New Mexico region.
Created by bilingual journalism students, Noticias22 offers hands-on experience in Spanish-language news reporting, anchoring, video editing, and live broadcast production. The program emphasizes culturally responsive journalism and serves as a vital platform for reaching underserved communities with timely and accurate information.
